SR are pleased to be a partner of Kennedy Scott in delivering the Department of Work and Pensions and European Social Fund Help To Work programme 

 

Help to Work is a voluntary employment project that gives you personalised support to help you reach your career goals and achieve your potential.

To be eligible for the programme you would need to unemployed. but you do not need to be in receipt of any benefits. You must be aged 16 or over and a legal resident with the right to work in the UK.

Help to Work is funded by the Department for Work and Pensions and the European Social Fund.

Process 

When enrolled SR will work on a 1-2-1 basis with you with regular meetings to ensure that we meet all your needs to help you move into work. 

During these meeting we will discuss all your short term and long-term goals, any barriers that you feel are preventing you from working and create action plans to help overcome these issues/barriers. 

SR has great employer links and will work closely with both you and them to ensure that we meet everyone’s expectations when helping you back into work. 

Our personal touch

  • SR always ensure we fully understand your needs and give you the right advice and guidance.
  • We will use our employer’s vacancies which match your skills and goals. You always have the last say if you wish to not take a job and we will work with you until we find you work.
  • We will help you build skills and practical tools for job searching, including CVs and interviews, and provide access to qualifications, training and apprenticeships.
  • We will give you access to our e-Circle of Support website, which has a wide variety of services, courses and community groups to choose from that will help you to gain skills, build your confidence and improve your wellbeing. You can do things like gain qualifications, purchase a gym pass or find a sports club.
  • We will support you for up to six months after you find a job to help you settle in and progress in work.
